Last post before my flight north of the border
Well this will be my last post before I head out to MTL tomorrow. It’s 2:03 am and I’m really pumped to get this trip on the road. I am basically done packing and just need to finish putting in some stuff in my 2nd duffel bag. My flight leaves in the afternoon tomorrow so that works out well for me :) if you want to stay in contact with me as i get to certain countries ill be using skype and the iPhone app viber, o and facebook and twitter. well gonna catch some Z’s! can’t wait to take this test :) I’m making sure I score as high as possible so I don’t have to take it a second time. gonna run through things tomorrow morning since my test time isn’t till 2:00 p.m. gotta get some shuteye, but it’s good I got some practice in.
Whats up? (that’s rhetorical :P) I am really excited to be going on SAS. I really am fortunate to have this great opportunity to do so. I really want to experience what life is like in the other countries. I know a lot of the time I take for granted how fortunate I am to be living in the USA and have all these easy, accessible commodities to me. I’m going to combine my outgoing personality, interest in different cultures, and love for medicine, and study and interest in healthcare of these other nations to see how they can be improved and what is being done to improve them as I pursue my career in Nursing. I also want to take the time to visit the place where my father was born. Casablanca, Morocco. Primarily, the Jewish area or what is left of it by going to visit those communities, and seeing the synagogues and what they are like there. Well that is all for now.. gonna get some shuteye.
